Fine Cuisine Demi-Glace Sauce Mix

A fine, cohesive, brown powder. Prepares an opaque, thin, brown sauce. Its rich beef flavour is balanced with wine and vegetable notes.

Simple to prepare using water, this concentrated shelf-stable product saves space and insures a consistent flavour and appearance. Steam-table stable for up to 8 hours, this product can also be frozen and reheated without breaking.

Suggested use

Can be used as a ready to serve traditional demi-glace sauce over chicken, pork, game, beef, lamb or any red or white meat.This demi-glace can be used as a base to make hundreds of sauces derived from demi-glace. For more ideas visit

Mix: 125 g 20 kg
Cold Water: 250 mL 40 L
Boiling Water: 750 mL 120 L

Add mix to cold water while stirring. Mix well. Add to boiling water, stirring with a whisk. While stirring occasionally, bring back to boil, reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes. Sauces made following these directions are steam table stable and freezable.
