Debreziner Sausage with Bow Tie Pasta & Carbonara Sauce
Carbonara Sauce Mix

Debreziner Sausages, sliced in 6 round pieces |
| 100 mL |
Spanish Onion, finely diced |
| 15 mL |
Garlic, minced |
| 1 large |
Red Bell Pepper, finely diced |
| 200 mL |
Mushrooms, thinly sliced |
| 30 mL |
Parsley, finely chopped |
| 3 mL |
Fresh Cracked Black Peppercorns |
| 2 mL |
Basil |
| 1.2 kg |
Bow Tie Pasta, cooked |
Preparation
Prepare the Inspiration Carbonara Sauce according to package directions. Keep warm. In a large Rondeau pot, heat the canola oil on medium high heat and sauté the debreziner sausages for 4-5 minutes. Add the onions, garlic, red bell pepper and mushrooms and continue to sauté for 2 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients, lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Optional
Finish with 175 mL of 15% cream and 100 g of freshly grated Gruyere cheese.
